Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium Grant and Funding Allocation

Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

Pupil Premium is a Government Initiative, which was introduced in 2011, which is intended to improve the outcomes for children and is based upon the number of children entitled to Free School Meals and those in the Care System. At Howes Community Primary School, we aim to give all children access to a first class education and we use the Pupil Premium money to ensure that our pupils are given every opportunity to succeed. The attached documents give a clear and detailed over-view of how school leaders have directed this money for the last three years to help raise standards and outcomes for our children.
