School Places
Howes Community Primary School has flexibility of Nursery places to support families.
Nursery children can attend for 15 hours which can be mornings only, or some full days. We also support families with 30 hour places where needed.
Currently, we can admit 15 children into Reception, but have classes of up to 30 children across the rest of the school. The current school structure is:
Oak Class (Nursery/Reception) – up to 30
Ash Class (Year One) – up to 30
Cedar Class (Year Two) up to 30
Maple Class (Year Three and Year Four) up to 30
Sycamore (Year Five) up to 30
Willow (Year Six) up to 30
In addition, we have further children in our Hearing Resource Base who work in the unit and in their year group classes.
