Welcome to Ash Class!
We are a Year 1 class at Howes Community Primary School. Our class teacher is Mrs Bansal and we are supported by our amazing teaching assistants Mrs Spriggs and Mrs Wildsmith. In Ash Class, we strive to be the best we can be every day in everything we do, and we couldn’t do it without the support of our wonderful school staff and the adults at home.
Now that we are in Year 1, we have developed a better understanding of our school’s values, especially the value of friendship. We try to demonstrate this every day and believe it is what makes Ash Class such a happy and fabulous place to learn.
We understand that everyone has an important role to play in our class. We are proud to take on different roles and responsibilities, knowing that these help us become more independent and prepare us for the future.
In Ash Class, we are learning to believe in ourselves and always try our best to tackle new challenges. We know that sometimes we may need a little extra support, and we are learning different strategies to help us overcome challenges and achieve success. We are so excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to see all that we will achieve together!
